I buried the legs in the soil, which eventually resulted in them rotting out, but did keep them secure until that happened. You could try attaching to rebar pounded into the ground a foot or two deep outside of the beds.

I have 2 that I would love to use in the garden. We get torrential rains sometimes with wind gusts here in Florida zone 9a. Do you have any suggestions for securing the ladder to the ground when using it as a trellis without a structure to attach it to?
