Hi Nancy – I use both shredded cardboard and woodchips in the bottom of the bins. The worms like the cardboard a little better but will also do fine in the wood chips. I use both. I’m glad you like the new website. I appreciate the feedback!

In a recent video, that I think was part of something else, I noticed you were using square wire plant protectors, but what stood out to me was you did not put the shredded cardboard in the bottom when replenishing it; you just added the scrap. Have you changed what you do?
