In some parts of Arizona, yes. In the low desert we don’t get cold enough in the winter and we get too hot in the summer for it to grow.

I would add lima beans. I’m also experimenting with yuccon in my shaded garden- they’re a bit like Jerusalem artichokes in that you leave some tubers to keep going.
